The Fair is officially declared open with a proclamation from the balcony of the Assembly Rooms.

Saturday 5th May - The Mayor of Boston, Councillor Mary Wright officially opened the Annual May Fair. The Mayor then went on a tour of the fair accompanied by the Mayor's party including invited dignitaries from local towns and districts.
